We had a beautiful day! I was absolutely amazed at the generosity of the people stopping to get their cars washed. We actually had several people that came back with their spouses' car to have us wash another car. We prayed before the Wash, asking for God's blessing, and thanked God in prayer after the Wash for all the blessings which have come and are yet to come because of this awesome day. We are sooooo surprised by the amount we made for Crossroads Pregnancy Center. May God's hand continue to bless the people who work so hard for the unborn children. It was an honor to be a part of this project. We look forward to participating next year in the Wash for Life.

We washed from 9a-2p and had a wonderful response from students and adults who volunteered and the community who came to the wash and learned more about the PRCO. With a year to plan, we are prayerful that Wash For Life 2008 will open opportunities for more churches and organizations to get involved in this life-affirming event. We did better than expected and I know next year we will do a lot better!!!! We had a great time, we had donations given to feed our volunteers from Pizzahut, Little Caesers, Dominos, Bizzaros, Winn-Dixie, Publix and Doughnuts4you. Advance Auto Parts let us use their location. It was great!!!

Glory to God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit... What a beautiful day the volunteers had while working for a worthy cause. Fifty people from our community took advantage of the lovely weather to get their car washed, and they also made a nice donation during the nationwide event. Although this was the first for our youth ministry, we look forward to a better year next time. We thank all those that volunteered and patronized the car wash. We also send a big thank you to St. James, St. Philipriliance, Western Auto, The Enterprise, Parish President Dale Hymel, and most importantly First American Bank for letting us use their facility. These were our first contributing sponsors allowing us to use their facility. Many families will become blessed from everyone's efforts especially Crossroads Pregnancy Center in Thibodaux, LA.
