I had about eight days to put this together. My approval came through last friday for the location. To me any amount of money was successful! There was a 80% chance of rain so I think a lot of people at my church just assumed we wouldn't be having it. But God did not let it rain in Antioch! Beautiful blue sky's and sunshine! For the little amount of cars we washed we raised a very good amount and a lot of awareness. Today was a success no matter what. The $953 is not total. We held it at a Chick-Fil-A and they allowed us to hold a fundraiser at the same time so a % of money spent on food will go to the PCCs as well but we won't know that amount for a week or so. Also inside the restaurant, members of our pro life club raised $109 dollars opperating a "Plinko" game. I would highly reccomend to all other groups to hold their washes at a Chick-Fil-A if possible. They are Christian, pro-life and will help you make lots of money! - Vita Servus, Tucson, AZ
